Whether you're navigating the complexities of divorce, seeking custody arrangements, or planning for the future with a prenuptial agreement, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
At Cove Family Law, we provide the following legal services.
A prenuptial agreement isn't a plan for divorce, but rather an opportunity to discuss your finances decisions with your future spouse and set yourselves up for success, forever.
I operate most uncontested divorces under a flat-fee model so I can get you set up for the next chapter of your life quickly and without putting further strain on your finances.
There is no job in life more important than raising a child, and I will ensure you are well-represented to keep or establish parenting rights to best care for your child.
When a child needs someone other than their parent to care for them, I am here to help navigate the legal processes to ensure each and every child is loved and supported!
Maybe divorce isn't what you want, but something needs to change. Call me for advice on legal separation and to determine if it might be your next step.
I have experience in military divorces, including division of military retirements and maintaining military spousal rights after divorce.
Establishing legal paternity can be a complicated process with implications for custody and child support tied up in the decisions. Let me help you establish the paternity of your child and set you up to parent to the best of your abilities!
Whether you need to receive child support from the other parent, need to modify an existing order, or have found yourself behind in paying child support, I can help you navigate these issues and find the resolution you (and your wallet!) need.
There are few things in life and law as difficult and emotional as untangling a marriage. Regardless of where in the process you are or how you found yourself even considering divorce, I will be a listening ear and zealous advocate to protect you and your rights.

I hope to make all of my clients feel listened to, respected, and encouraged throughout the legal process and help families thrive in whatever form they take.
I was raised in Odenville, Alabama, a small town near Birmingham. I moved to Huntsville after marrying my husband who is a Huntsville native. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in English and Political Science. I completed the University Honors in English program as well as the Honors College program. While in college, I marched with the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band for four years (ROLL TIDE!). I then attended the University of Alabama School of Law. While a law student, I was the Executive Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review. As a Public Interest Student Board member, I was awarded the Order of the Samaritan for outstanding service to the community and the law school. I also served in the Civil Law Clinic and the Domestic Violence Clinic, providing free legal services to individuals in the Tuscaloosa area who could not otherwise afford help. I always dreamed of going to law school to help the people around me, which has led to a particular passion for adoption and advocating for victims of domestic violence. Before practicing family law, I spent two years as a clerk for a state court judge in Huntsville, learning the ins and outs of legal practice and litigation. Since that time, my focus has been entirely in domestic relations practice.
